A popular osteoporosis drug, Fosamax, and its generic form, Alendronate, is being said to cause spontaneous fractures.

Fosamax is a drug used to strengthen bones. For many women it has worked successfully but, according to an ABC News report, women who have taken the drug for five years are at risk of suffering spontaneous fractures.

Doctors are seeing many femurs fractured in patients who have been on the drug. This is especially concerning to doctors as the femur is one of the stronger bones in the body.

If you or your loved one has suffered a Fosamax or Alendronate injury, contact us today. Submit the form to the right and we’ll let you know if you have a case and if we can represent you.
