AlloDerm is a type of skin graft, principally used during hernia and breast reconstructive procedures. Using skin tissue from cadavers, AlloDerm is meant to work with a patient’s body to produce new skin cells, helping a patient recover from specific injuries or medical procedures.

While AlloDerm has been an effective form of treatment for some, there have been complaints of negative side effects, some of which have been deemed life threatening.
