  1. Jenna says:

I have been diagnosed with dystonia due to complications from taking Yaz for over 3yrs. I’m not a smoker or a drinker so no life style choices I made increased my risk for side effects from this pill other than me taking it.

I have days that are spent in a wheel chair, walking with a cane, or not walking at all. I was unable to work for over 2 months and thank goodness I didn’t lose my job that took me over 3 months to find after I graduated. I’ve only been released to work 3 1/2 days a week until I get to a dystonic specialist at UVA July 28th. I have been unable to decided on how I want to handle this as a lawsuit. I now have to live with a handicap for the rest of my life due to a pill. Something needs to be done and more lives need to be saved. I never thought as a 23 year old that I would be in a wheel chair and have a handicap permit. Everyday brings a new challenge and I hope and pray this pill gets pulled off the market.
