Bruce has handled disability claims for more than 30 years, and other attorneys in the area regularly refer their clients to him when a claim is denied. He files appeals on claims rejected for incomplete medical records, applications that don’t clearly show how a condition limits someone’s ability to work, or administrative errors by the reviewing agency or insurer.

Bruce has the persistence to see claims through to resolution. That lets his clients focus on treatment while he manages the paperwork, deadlines, and arguments.

Bruce brings compassion to the people he represents and is committed to pursuing the benefits they may be eligible for when they need them most.

He went on to graduate with his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and was admitted to the Florida and Alabama bars that same year.

Bruce is also active in the Destin community. He serves on the board of Hope Medical Clinic, which provides free health care to working people without insurance in Okaloosa and Walton counties.

He was a longtime member of the Destin Rotary Club, which named him Rotarian of the Year in 2007, and he is a past president of the Okaloosa-Walton Bar Association.
