When a company puts profits ahead of patient safety, consumers are often left to deal with the consequences. Attorney Kristina Berkover works to change that, helping clients pursue justice and hold these companies accountable.

Much of Kristina's work happens behind the scenes while preparing for trial, where she digs through documents and records to identify key evidence in a case. This often includes what a company knew about the risks of their product, when they knew it, and whether or not they did enough to warn the public.

She works closely with expert witnesses, helping prepare expert opinions and testimony that explain complex scientific and medical issues to judges and juries.

“Consumers deserve to know about all of the potential side effects linked to their medications,” expressed Kristina. “Without that information, they can't make a truly informed decision about their own health."

Background & Education

Kristina received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Before joining Sokolove Law, she practiced family and immigration law, representing asylum seekers and survivors of domestic violence in state and federal court.

Kristina is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 civil attorney.

She looks forward to hearing your story and helping your family seek the justice they deserve.
