When Michael joined Sokolove Law, he was inspired by the seemingly limitless opportunities to reach thousands of families in need of legal assistance. His iconoclastic vision of shaping the 21st Century delivery of legal services has buoyed much of Sokolove Law’s ongoing success. For over 40-years, Sokolove Law has helped to bring justice to thousands of families, recovering more than $8 Billion for its clients.
Michael believes that a combination of fate and hard work led him to the position where he is now: the CEO of a law firm that stands proudly with people and families who have been wronged by corporate negligence.
Michael attended American University in Washington D.C., where he earned a BSBA degree in finance and law. After graduating, he went on to earn his master’s degree in business from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
Prior to working at Sokolove Law, Michael was a founding member and Senior Director of Arthur Andersen’s Global Corporate Finance Group, the investment banking arm of Arthur Andersen LLP. He also worked as an Associate with Riverside Partners, a leveraged buyout firm headquartered in Boston.
These days, Michael is an in-demand keynote speaker within both the legal and business communities. In addition to leading Sokolove Law and participating in speaking events, he is also contributing writer and senior editor for American Trial Lawyer Magazine. Michael has also been published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal and The Boston Business Journal.
Throughout it all, Michael remains steadfast in his primary mission, which is to stand up for the rights of those who have been injured through no fault of their own and to help provide them with unparalleled service and access to the civil justice system.
