Background & Education
Stephen received his undergraduate degree from American University, where he studied Economics and Government, Communications, and Law. He went on to earn his M.S. in Criminal Justice from Salve Regina University before attending Roger Williams University School of Law, where he earned his J.D.
Public service has been a constant throughout Stephen's life, even before he became an attorney. His career began in law enforcement as a police officer in Rhode Island. From there, he moved into local government and served on the Smithfield Town Council.
Stephen was later elected to the Rhode Island Senate, where he represented District 22 from 2013 to 2023.
